Here he is moments after I belted him into his seat on the bus:
His teacher (on the bus with him) said that after a few moments he got over being sad and instead began pointing out the sights along the way. And, a few hours later, fresh from snacks and finger-painting and trying to (according to the teacher) move the activity timers ahead so he could go on to the next thing, he got back off the bus, full of vim and vigor:
