Why would the "L" in the African alphabet be for "lizard?"
I was watching Sesame Street with the boys one day last week -- if you haven't seen it in a while, you should check it out. It's actually kind of cool -- and they had the "African alphabet" on, a song in which each letter stood for some animal that could be found on the African continent.
They got to L and I was startled when they said that L is for lizard.
Lizard?
Lizard?
They couldn't think of any other animal starting with L that lives in Africa?
