Arthur Falcone Is My New Rock Hero

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Overnight Reputation for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
You ever hear a song that just gets you up out of your chair and makes you want to star air guitaring or air drumming or air-whatever-instrument-you-play-ing?

I’ve heard like ten of them so far this morning.  They’re all by this guy, Arthur Falcone, who I only just learned about.

People who know me or read this blog know that I’m pretty big into music.  I have something like 12000 songs on my iPod, but for all that I rarely mention hard rock, and here is why: There’s almost nobody around making great rock and roll songs anymore, have you noticed?  When you start talking great hard rock bands almost everyone  you mention is from the 70s or 80s: Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Poison… has there even been a great hard rocker in the past 20 years?

YES. His name is Arthur Falcone.  He makes the kind of music that those bands made only he’s making it now, and frankly, better.  I’ve listened to almost all of his album, Stargazer, today, and I can tell you it’s got my blood pumping.  Listening to it you can picture huge concert arenas with guitar players doing wild solos, exploding fireworks, bands partying in limos, car chases… all the stuff that makes rock music amazing.  (I assume that hard rockin’ bands get into car chases because they do all sorts of cool stuff.)

The song I’m on right now, Out Of Control (find it on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaCWZqR-hmA ) is one of the best of the bunch: fast, punchy, it’s like a soundtrack to a drag race.  Check it out if you love great hard rock.

*sigh*

Me: You know you have to do math.

Mr Bunches: I want to talk to Mommy.

Me: Mommy will just tell you that you have to do math homework, too.

Mr Bunches: I want to talk to Mommy.

Me:  Ok.  Mommy, come in here.

[Mommy enters the bedroom; Mr Bunches takes the blanket off of his face.]

Me: What did you want to say to Mommy?

Mr Bunches:  Daddy is trying to kill me. I have to call the government.
