Mr Bunches' Alphabet Words! (Life With Unicorns)

Mr Bunches got a new alphabet set on our last trip to the Dollar Store.  Yesterday, he was laying them out and asking me how to pronounce the resultant combinations:

And I was trying to figure out how he was coming with the words he was making when I suddenly realized that he was sorting them by color.

So he was, as far as I could tell, assuming that the colors of the letters had some sort of meaning, and that when you set them off by colors, you were creating words.

Which is, according to science,  how words were invented in the first place: by Aristotle, using stone colored letters from the Drachma Store.

I get dibs on the word AWQJ;

It's going to mean something GREAT.

But how do you know what color a letter is? I mean, how do you really know? Do you ask it? Do they change colors depending upon how they feel of if they're trying to hide?

Well, in his case, the letters come in that color.

But I like your thinking.

Yeah, I knew that, but that was an arbitrary decision by whomever made that toy, like Lego figures being yellow.

Did you get the email I sent? (Just want to make sure it came through.)
