I had this moment

"Toast" was invented by the Greeks you know or rather discovered after Archimedes left some bread on Apollo's chariot overnight and was delighted to find it crispy and delicious the next day butter wasn't invented of course until 1987 so our modern hot buttered toast is a recent thing
