11 down, 9,094 to go.

Everyday I talk to Sweetie around the time I eat lunch, and each day I ask her how the Babies! are doing. Usually, her answer is "fine." Some days, her answer is that they lost a sock. Today, her answer was:

Mr F figured out how to use the water dispenser on the refrigerator, so he was running that and splashing it all over and getting himself and the kitchen soaking wet.

I figured that was about the worst of it, so I said, simply "Cute." Then she added: Plus, he had water running into him and was drinking it out of his sleeve.

So I'm both sorry I missed that and glad to be at "work" today, where the most onerous thing I have to do is occasionally type up a letter or take a phone call, and mostly watch videos, like the two I have today.

I hope that at least one of these appeals to Sydney Airport, but that's not why I'm putting in 2 songs from my iPod at once. Nor am I concerned about running out of time. If I do one or two of these per week, I will finish up -- assuming I add no more songs to my iPod before then-- in only 87 and 1/2 years.

No, I'm putting two of these in because I was going to simply put in The Bleeding Heart Show by New Pornographers -- a song that's best known as "that University of Phoenix song," -- and I found a good video to go with it. This is that video:

And I love that video! It's awesome. When he goes back and puts on his spacesuit, I almost cheered.

But the reason I'm posting two today is that the video showed me what happened to Bumblebee Girl. Obviously, she got married and had kids, and one of those kids then ventured out into the world and met Spaceman Guy. You remember Bumblebee Girl, don't you? From No Rain by Blind Melon:

Plus, I kind of assumed that "Sydney Airport" was a pseudonym of some sort, but in going to that commenters' site, I saw that, no, "Sydney Airport" the Airport commented.

Still, "Sydney Airport" would make a great character's name in one of my stories.
