I thought it was like the Garden of Eden almost and then I wondered how come nobody ever mentions the ocean animals in that Bible story?

An actual conversation with Mr Bunches:

Me: "And what's the 3rd planet?"

Mr Bunches: "Earth."

Me: "Who lives on Earth?"

Mr Bunches: "Me, and you, and Mommy, and [Mr F]."

Me: "Anyone else?"

Mr Bunches: "And animals."

Me: "Anyone else?"

Mr Bunches: "And ocean animals."

My question: Did Noah have to take an example of every individual species on the ark or was "elephant" good enough?

Land animals and ocean animals and air animals. We can get really specific, can't we?

Liz you forgot MOON animals.

Andrew: Interesting. And how far back would you go? PRIMATE? Or would you need monkeys, chimps, gorillas, etc?

I don't know. I have no idea how you would determine those things. We tend to think of lion, tigers, panthers, etc as all separate, but we lump all elephants together. Likewise deer. And other things. Not very fair, if you ask me.
